Objective: Students will be able to create a video to showcase researching, informational writing and speaking skills.

Preparation (2 days) Students choose a rainforest animal based on classroom texts.
Front load researching skills.
Searching for videos with the terms “For Kids” (example: Jellyfish for Kids)
Install Text-to-Speech extensions so websites can be read to students
Distribute and model the completion of the graphic organizer.
Transfer research from graphic organizer to paragraph form.
Practice fluency and reading paragraph aloud.
Also, find images that will serve as the background for the green screen video.
Save to Drive.
